Running Center, Inc. ("RunningCenters.com") takes online security very seriously and we make every effort to provide a safe shopping experience.
When you check out during a purchase, or when you access your account, all your personal data is encrypted with a VeriSign Extended Validation SSL certificate (128- to 256-bit encryption). This assures that your personal information cannot be viewed by anyone while in transit. You can click the VeriSign "Verify" link on the shopping cart and checkout pages of our site to verify this certificate and our status with VeriSign.
If your browser supports extended validation, then you'll notice that the address bar turns green on secure pages. In addition to the lock icon within your browser, this is another helpful cue to you to show that the page is encrypted and is secure. Browsers who don't support extended validation are just as strongly protected as those who do, so this feature doesn't impact the actual encryption of your data.
This site is scanned daily to help ensure a safe browsing and shopping experience for you.
