Running Center was founded in 1977 with Fred taking over the reins in 1979. An avid runner, Fred was a CHP officer for many years as well as a business owner. Soon after opening his first running store, Fred met his wife Nancy and together they grew the business to what it is today. Fred was many things, a father, a husband, a boss, and a friend among them.
Fred will be remembered for his strong work ethic, ready smile, quick wit, sense of humor and compassion. Always so kind and encouraging. Fred worked tirelessly alongside his employees and when one of those employees was having a bad day, Fred was known to say "We're just selling shoes" reminding us all that there are things in life to be stressed about but shoes aren't one of them!

Orders are shipped by USPS Priority Shipping, FedEx or UPS and generally will arrive 2-3 business days after shipping.
Orders are processed Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. Every effort is made to ship out all orders placed by Noon Pacific Standard Time on the same day the order is received. Orders placed after noon on Friday or on the weekend will ship on the following Monday. Occasionally your order will ship from one of our brand partner's warehouse which will add a few days to the process.
